Our first Thanksgiving on Read Road, and the answer to the season's most-searched question: yes, PEPE Cannabis in St. Catharines is open all long weekend, including Thanksgiving Monday, October 12, 2026, regular hours. The LCBO closes for the holiday; we don't.
Things to Do Around St. Catharines on Thanksgiving Weekend
Wine country in full colour. The vineyards between here and Niagara-on-the-Lake are at peak fall the second weekend of October, and most wineries pour right through the holiday weekend. We're on the way; see our wine country guide.
Port Dalhousie. The lighthouse piers and the lakefront are the city's best post-turkey walk, especially at golden hour.
Old Town NOTL with visiting family. Playing tour guide? Our Niagara-on-the-Lake things-to-do guide has the loop, and if your American relatives ask about legal cannabis, the US visitors' guide answers everything (short version: yes it's legal, no it can't cross the border home).
Host duty. Read Road is right off the QEW; order online and the pre-dinner pickup takes two minutes.
Fall Picks From the Shop
- After-dinner indicas. A heavy indica from the flower menu or our house 11 Week Pink for the post-feast couch; the sleep guide has the lineup.
- Pre-rolls for the vineyard-country walk. The new infused pre-rolls guide covers the heavy hitters.
- Gummies for a full house. Discreet and easy to dose while family's in town; see the gummies guide.
- THC beverages for the table. A festive glass without the next-morning tax; the beverages guide has our picks.
Host's reminder: backyard yes, dinner table read the room, everything locked away from kids and pets, and nobody drives high on wine country roads or anywhere else.
