What ID Do You Need?
This trips up a lot of students, so read this part:
- You must be 19+. No exceptions, no "it's my birthday next week."
- A student card is not valid ID. You need government-issued photo ID: a driver's licence, Ontario Photo Card, or passport.
- International students: your passport is perfect. A foreign driver's licence generally works too if it has your photo and date of birth.
Everyone gets carded, every time. It's the law, and it's why the shop is a comfortable place to be.

Student-Budget Picks
Money's tight in September. These are the best value plays on our menu:
- Everyday ounces. Our house Pepe Everyday line and budget brands like SHRED and Nugz deliver 28g at prices that make sense for the semester. Browse flower and ask what's on sale, because something always is.
- Pre-rolls. Zero equipment, no grinder, no mess. Perfect for residence-adjacent life where you don't want to own gear.
- Gummies. Discreet, no smell, and easy to dose. See our guide to the best THC gummies and edibles in Canada.
- THC drinks. A single can is cheaper than a round of drinks and won't leave you hungover before an 8 a.m. lecture. Our best cannabis beverages guide has the picks.
- Disposable vapes. All-in-one, rechargeable, no cartridge shopping. The best disposable vapes in Canada guide has our picks.
Rules Students Actually Need to Know
Campus. Brock is a smoke- and vape-free campus. That includes cannabis, and it includes the parking lots. Plan accordingly.
Residence. Smoking and vaping aren't permitted in residence buildings. If you're living on campus, edibles and beverages are the practical choice, and check your residence agreement for the specifics.
Off campus. Generally, wherever you could smoke a cigarette: sidewalks, most parks, and your own place (landlord rules apply). Not on patios, not in enclosed public spaces.
Possession. Up to 30 grams of dried cannabis (or equivalent) in public.
Driving. Ontario has zero tolerance for novice (G1/G2) drivers with any THC in their system. If you're on a G2, that's zero, not "a little."
Buy legal. Legal products are lab-tested and accurately dosed. The "guy" isn't. It's the one shortcut not worth taking. Our tips for avoiding a bad high are worth a read if you're new to this.
Getting Here From Campus
